Do you buy and drink bottled water, if so you could make an immediate difference to your carbon footprint and save your self some money!
Did you know that sales of bottled water in the UK reached 965 million litres in 2006; the value of this market is £1.68bn. The average cost of bottled water is 95p per litre, if you buy 3 litres a week this equates to an annual cost to you of £148.20.
What is the cost to the environment, whether the water you buy comes from overseas or the UK it is incurring the environmental impact of transportation all the way from manufacturer to distributor, to retailer to purchaser.
Bottled water either comes in a plastic or glass bottle (four out of five bottles sold in the UK are plastic), which has to be disposed of in some way. Most end up being dumped in landfill.
There is no independent research that proves bottled water consistently tastes better than tap and no evidence that bottled water is substantially healthier.
Filtering your water will reduce or illiminate limescale, chlorine and other contents that affect taste and smell of tap water.
So take a look at our filter taps and water filter jugs to add to your eco lifestyle.

Did you know that 1 million plastic bags are given out or sold per minute worldwide?
Not only that, billions of bags every year create ugly rubbish, they kill animals and marine mammals in vast quantities
The production of plastic bags requires vast amounts of oil, which is running out. Plastic bags do not biodegrade they break down into smaller and smaller toxic bits which contaminate soil and waterways and enter the food cycle when animals accidentally eat them.
As a guilt free alternative use a sustainable, eco friendly shopping bag that is far more stylish.
